He first came in touch with the ADRL during his Semester Project and part-time assistant employment where he helped testing and improving [[http://www.adrl.ethz.ch/doku.php/adrl:software|RCARS]] used for feature-based localization of the [[http://www.adrl.ethz.ch/doku.php/adrl:robots|HyQ Robot]]. After completion of his [[http://www.adrl.ethz.ch/doku.php/adrl:education:completed_projects:mlussi2016|Master Thesis]] he joined the ADRL as a full-time Software Engineer. His work is focused on implementing the visual-based state estimation for the [[http://www.adrl.ethz.ch/doku.php/adrl:robots|IF Robot]] of project [[http://gramaziokohler.arch.ethz.ch/web/e/forschung/324.html | Mesh Mould Metal]] as well as maintaining and improving the low-level software of [[http://www.adrl.ethz.ch/doku.php/adrl:robots|HyQ]] and HyA.
